The Enderlin K-6 grade students had a little fun with their teachers in April. They participated in the “Spring Fling” Reading Challenge which involved a whole lot of reading and pie throwing. All students who reached their reading goal got their name in a drawing to throw the pie at their teacher’s face during an assembly at the end of the month. Fun was had by all and we are very proud of everyone who completed the challenge! Keep on reading!
6th grade Aviation Symposium
Each year, the sixth grade class gets the wonderful opportunity to be taken up in planes by pilots in the area. The students have been looking forward to this day the entire school year, and it finally came! There were five pilots, Jeff Hamre, Bobby Geske, Steve Lund, Rick Cavett, and Paul Ripplinger, who took the kids up in groups of three at a time. The students were flown over their houses and towards the dam so they could see the view from the sky. For many of the sixth graders, this was their very first time in a plane. When each plane landed, the students had nothing but smiles on their faces. We are thankful for the opportunity and for the trusty pilots who took us up! The grounds crew of Cal Anderson, Beth Gekse and Ben Halstedsen also helped make this a great learning experience.
